Q: What service do you offer?
A: In a very short summary our service offers leaseholders, residents and directors a block portal where they can log in to access relevant information that has been published by the property managers or directors.The portal can be used to publish service charge invoices for payment online. If you use Sage or Kashflow for accountancy then Block Management Online can work together with your accounting software to publish invoices raised there.
There is also a range of other features for back-office users that will help with other aspects of block management, such as sending e-mail shots and letters. We also undertake bespoke development work to ensure our software fits your needs and is tailored to your business processes.
Q: How much does your block management software cost?
A: Prices depend on the size of your portfolio and the number of back-office users required. We also offer development of bespoke features and styling of the block portal to your brand. Our prices are such that they appeal to growing block management companies as well as more established property managing agents with larger portfolios. Please contact us for a discussion about your needs and a quote.
Q: How many users can use the system at any one time?
A: There is no limitation to the number of users that can access and use the block portal or the back-office administrator portal. Your service costs will include an unlimited number of leaseholders, but the price will vary depending on back-office user accounts.
Q: How secure is the portal?
A: Keeping your data secure is very important to us. The block portal is built from the ground up and with security in mind which means that we are not exposed to common vulnerabilities that may exist in other content management systems. Further, when logged in to the portal, all communication is encrypted. All data is hosted on secure private servers located in the UK.
Q: Is there a limit to how many blocks/properties you can add?
A: There is no limit to the number of blocks you can have in your portfolio and each block can have unlimited amount of properties allocated to them. However, to offer our product at a lower cost we also offer packages that limit the number of blocks.
Q: Can the portal be customised?
A: Yes, absolutely. The portal can be completely customised to your specifications. There will be an added charge on top of your existing package purchase. Please contact us to discuss your ideas and for a quote. Often all that is required is to tailor the header and footer of the block portal at minimal cost.
Q: How can we communicate with our customers if they have no Internet?
A: We offer help by providing letter templates and mail merge to more easily get the information out. Whether or not your leaseholders have access to a computer there may still be a legal requirement to send certian documentation in letter form.
Q: Can I use your software to send Service charge invoices?
A: Yes, you can raise service charge, ground rent, and other types of invoices for printing and for online payment. Our software also works with Sage and Kashflow for publishing invoices. If you are using another accountancy package, then please enquire as we are keen to develop interfaces with other popular accountancy software.
